The American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA)
The A2LA accreditation covers the specific tests and types of tests listed on the agreed scope of accreditation. This credential includes the important assessment to the ISO/IEC 17025 "General Requirements for the Competence of Calibration and Testing Laboratories" (equivalent to relevant requirements of the ISO 9000 series of standards) and any additional program requirements in the identified field of testing.

International Traffic and Arms (ITAR)
Any person or company who engages the United States in the business of either manufacturing or exporting defense articles or furnishing defense services is required to register and keep their registration current with this Office pursuant to the Arms Export Control Act (AECA) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations ITAR Part 122. Registration serves as a precondition to submitting an application for an export license or other approval from the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), or to use of export exemptions.
